The Institut Bleu is launching a new edition of the Pre-Sea Adaptability Program (PAP’mer), a project designed to support individuals interested in pursuing careers in the maritime sector , particularly as commercial fishermen. In partnership with the Regional Committee for Marine Fisheries and Aquaculture of Réunion (CRPMEM), France Travail andthe Maritime Apprenticeship School, this program offers participants the opportunity to test their skills and motivation before enrolling in a vocational training program in the maritime sector.
Following the conclusion of the last sessionin December 2025, we’re looking forward to the 4th edition!

- Information sessions to learn about careers in the maritime sector and the opportunities they offer, as well as how to finance training.
Practical training at sea
Participants take part in a half-day introductory fishing trip aboard a boat owned by a professional fisherman certified in fishing tourism. This hands-on experience offers a chance to learn about the life of a commercial fisherman in real-world conditions and to interact with the professional.
